Art & Design

  • What type of artwork do you accept?

Vector artwork is best, as it will reproduce the best possible image on your product. Raster based artwork is also accepted with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI at print size. Artwork of this type is considered “Print Ready” and can continue directly into the production process.

  • What if I cannot supply “Print Ready” artwork?

No worries! Send us what you can and our staff will work with you to touch up, edit, or recreate the artwork to the proper specifications.

**Please note that artwork editing or re-creation services may incur additional charges**

  • Can I have you create a design for me?

Absolutely! Our highly skilled design staff love creating unique, custom designs and logos for our clients. Please contact our team for more details at thepros@skgroupinc.com

  • Why does my finished product look different from my digital proof?

While digital proofs do an excellent job of providing a general idea of the finished piece, due to the inconsistencies of various monitors and devices some variation between proof and finished product is to be expected and is unavoidable.

  • Will my art be sized differently for Youth and Adult Shirts?

Unless requested prior to placing an order, all artwork will be sized to the smallest size piece in your order. Requests for multiple artwork sizes are accepted but may incur additional charges.

  • What Color(s) will you use for my artwork?

We will try as best as possible to match the colors in your design using our large palate of stock ink and thread colors. However, in some cases, substitutions may be needed. We reserve the right to make these substitutions at our own discretion.

For Businesses and Organizations with Brand Specific color rules we can supply custom ink and threads, please see the Business and Organization section of the FAQ’s for more information.

  • How do I get my design embroidered?

The embroidery process involves converting your design into a digital file of individual stitches which are then read by the embroidery machine.  SK Group charges a one-time fee of $99.00 for this service.
